Our second compilation is here and we are really excited to host some of our favourite artists & friends.
Variety as always with music from the likes of Sicknote, Dominic Ridgway, Sweetpea & more dropping both digitally and with a limited 10″ sampler dropping 13th December.
“Rain” opens up laying down that signature Jaskin & Uneven sound showing their fearless attitude to fusing autonomic music with intricate percussion patters, they have been making waves in the 170 scene with releases such as their “Reborn” EP on Regression Media & the most recent “Safe Edge” EP on None60
One half of recent 1-800-Dubplate enterprise Sicknote “Ruck” rolls right into some mid 90s ruffige with extra techstep flavour, his production oozes with classic organic sounds & breaks always coming with a variety of gritty rollers and amen tracks for the likes of Silent/Sonic Force, Skeleton Recordings, Detrimental Audio & his own imprints Paws/Stereocilia Recordings , naturally being a full-time record junkie he always spans into new territories within his music.
For the real underground heads you will know the name Dominic Ridgway, a veteran of the 170 community with a decade span of releases with labels such as Diffrent Music, MJAZZ, Alphacut, None60 the list goes on, “Stand In, Stand Out” showcases his unique dubby melodic style packed with emotion.
Rising star Sweetpea serves up a heavy hitter “Whisper” twists & turns with sharp percussion, gritty stabs which pulsates through the system. She has had a very busy year playing all over the UK, Europe and even New York! fitting in production where she can this artist has a promising sound with music featured on labels such as Med School, Dispatch & Addictive Behaviour. We look forward to hearing more.
“Rough Neck Sludge” connects Philly and Ireland now with BMA x N-Mon1c, two up n coming producers with different backgrounds yet creating monsters every time they come together. BMA comes from the old skool focusing on the gritty edge tech but at the slower pace we love!, not only that he writes almost score like pieces which really capture.
Itti returns to the label since his Nakids EP early this year with his track “Optimize”. Heavy duty rolls and fills dig deep into this snappy number. Look out for Itti on the main catalogue in 2020 with Paracusia.
Our freshest face on our roster is Glasgow native Tuscan, having moved to Manchester he has really started to embrace the cities offerings and has his own flare of 170 we cannot wait to tap more into! ”Hollow” will be his 2nd official release, just having a feature on our brothers over in California, Conspired Within Music.
